With the summer rapidly approaching, it seems there is a continual stream of opportunities to spend a weekend among fellow Steampunks. Today’s featured event is the Steampunk Bizarre 2010, “The Experiment” occurring July 9-16th in Hartford, CT.

There is an impressive list of Steampunk artists that will be participating in this exhibit. You can take a look at them by clicking on the poster above. I was very excited about this opportunity because it seems like so little of Steampunk happens on the East Coast, particularly when compared to the West Coast. I’m not really sure why this is, but it does seem to be true. Fortunately, this event does showcase primarily East Coast Steampunk artists, so it is quite likely that you will see something new should you choose to attend.
