A new Steampunk automaton was recently created by GypsyThief, a Steampunk maker out in Port Alberni, British Columbia, Canada. It’s a basic machine, but its really quite impressive. Check out the video below to see “Orchestra Von Slatt” in action.

Pretty neat, although the featureless face combined with the organ music is just a tad on the creepy side. You can read more about the automata here. And, if you’re fortunate enough to be planning to attend SteamCon II or VCon 35 in Vancouver, you’ll have the opportunity to see it first hand!
